Personal Injury Costs Charter

  1. We will provide advice to you about the value of your claim before you are asked to make or respond to an offer of settlement.
  2. We will advise you of all of the offers that are made to you including the total amount of any offer to pay your legal costs.
  3. We will provide an estimate of all of the amounts that are to be deducted from an offer of settlement.  We will tell you at the same time the total amount of your legal costs.
  4. When your claim finishes we will provide a breakdown of your legal costs (a “short form bill”) which we will ask you to approve.  We will not accept payment of costs until you have approved our bill or at least 30 days have passed from the time our bill was sent to you and you have not objected to our bill.
